A major benefit of our clay plasters is their sorption capacity, i.e. their ability to absorb humidity contained in the indoor air and give it off again when the air gets drier. This ensures a constant humidity level if a sufficient quantity of clay is installed. Moreover, clay can absorb smells and pollutants because of its well-developed capillary system.
Do-it-yourself builders appreciate the easy application of lime plaster and, not least, the possibility to soften the clay again after drying if some corrective work needs to be done.
